Kids for Kids

Starting on 2011, I.Q. Suport Association will develop a series of humanitarian projects in this region – Fieni, Moțăieni, Pucioasa- in order to help the local communities to improove the educational structure.

We have launched Kids for Kids campaign as a start up project of the series that will begin next year. On the ocassion of coming Christmas, the time when people feel both the joy of receiving and giving, the need to step towards the new year by offering and sharing with the ones around us smiles, gifts and good joy we have thought about bringing a gift from our hearts to a less fortunate children place in a poor village in a disadvantaged area in Romania.

Kids for Kids campaign is a Christmas initiative for public benefit. The aim of our campaign is to raise funds and goods for the children in the Moțăieni Kinder Garden in Dâmbovița county. After visiting Moțăieni kinder garden we have seen the poor conditions and lack of equipment and how the kinder garden teacher managed to find alternative solutions for every-day activities with children. We decided to shoot a movie from a regular day in the kinder garden in order to show our point of view. This movie is the main tool of our campaign and by it we are hoping that you will embrace our compassion.

The way we imagine to be the contribution to this campaign of our foreign friends is to show this movie to all the people and insitutions they think fit in order to gather any kind of donations for the kinder garden in Romania – e.g. toys or games – puzzles, lego, educative games, board games s.o.- which they don't use so much anymore from other kinder gardens in their cities, from other children, from friends or persons who wish to make financial donations.
What is also important for us is to build another media material during the whole duration of campaign in which to show how donations were made in order to disseminate how this initiative worked in different countries. For this we need pictures and/or footage- filmed sequences with You in Action(YiA).

Considering the international context we have been working so far in the two years of activity and the connections we have made in this time, we have thought that it would be a good opportunity to show that the partnerships among organisations that are formed during the projects we have been having together are getting stronger despite distance and short time spent together and are relations based on sincere feelings of friendship, care and a common desire to make a difference by taking concrete actions.

We believe that a true network of international organisations and people doesn't only stand on collaborations inside formal funded projects, but also by mutual involvement and support in their initiatives of public benefit.
